The 27th International Nursing Research Congress starts soon. As I write this introduction to “Postmark: Cape Town,” published by Reflections on Nursing Leadership (RNL), many of the more than 700 nurse researchers, students, clinicians, and leaders registered to attend the congress are en route from points across the globe. Some have already arrived, among them Amy Berman, BSN, LHD, senior program officer, The John A. Hartford Foundation, New York, New York, USA. In a few days, Berman will be co-presenting a special session titled “The Gerontological Nursing Leadership Academy: Impacting the Future of Care Delivery and Policy,” which she will mention in an upcoming post on this site. But in the meantime, she found time to unwind and enjoy an exhilarating day at the beach. Don’t you wish you were there!
